As you're all already aware, there are a couple of ways in which you can add a job to your system. Picking the right slot from your diary page and filling in the info from the side-panel is easy as pie, however, we also find that a lot of our customers prefer adding jobs straight from a customers profile instead.
We've taken some time, given a lot of thought and listened to feedback from our customers to improve the 'Add a new job' screen that you can access from a customers profile to make it easier and simpler to navigate, allowing you to set your jobs up easier than ever before!
Don't worry about the functionality...
As much as we want to improve visually, we also don't want to go fixing something that isn't actually broken. With that in mind, we're maintaining the exact same functionality - your jobs are still going to populate your diary in the same way for example, we're just giving the 'Add new job' a bit of a facelift. Our 'Advanced options' (available from a tab at the bottom of the screen currently) will be displayed a little more prominently from now on, this just means you'll have all the options and info available at a glance as opposed to opening a separate menu to see them.
These changes have come about in part due to the fact we realised our 'Advanced options' were being woefully underutilised. We found that centralising all the options on a single page provides much greater visibility and access without having to navigate to any additional pages or screens. These changes, though minor, will also make it easier to apply even more changes and improvements in the future as Commusoft continues to develop and grow.
Certain settings will be dependent on what you have already got set up through Commusoft (shifts, for example as well as the ability to request a credit card be added, dependent on your already having integrated with one of our credit card facilities), if you wish to add any of these settings, please get in touch with support.

These updates won't be released immediately, we wanted to give you guys a bit of a heads up rather than just spring them on you. Keep an eye on your system over the next week or so for the changes to take place. We do want to reiterate, however, that you will still be able to create your jobs quickly and easily through your customers' profiles. This is a primarily aesthetic change to make things clearer and more streamlined for you guys!
