More freedom on mobile with manual email input

Lauren Burgess

Up until now, mobile users have been limited by the email addresses provided by office staff through the web application. If you’re standing in your customer’s kitchen and they’ve asked if you could actually email that completed invoice to their partner who tends to deal with the finances, your engineer has had to say no. Though it may be a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things, it still counts against you when it comes to providing the very best customer experience.

Our latest update to the Commusoft mobile app means that you can now manually add email addresses at the point of sending. This update is live on both Android and iOS devices. Check out the video below for an example of how this might work. In this example, the engineer has filled out a certificate for general electric works. The customer, Chelsea, has asked that you send the certificate to her brother David.

As you can see, the process is super quick and easy, and you can add as many recipients, including CCs, as you need. One important thing to remember is that you'll need to edit your email template and subject line to reflect the new recipient. It's very easy to miss this, but if you manage to get it right, your customer is sure to appreciate the added professional touch.

Are you happy with your experience with Commusoft so far? We're always looking for new ways to improve the application and provide more value for you. If you'd like to give us some feedback, you can do so by leaving us a Capterra review.
