Change for the better and not for the worse - Ziggy Marley (2011)
Like a lot of people, we’ve been trying to take advantage of being stuck indoors for the foreseeable future. Our tech team, in particular, has been burning the candle at both ends even more than they normally do and they’re churning out feature updates almost too quickly for us here to keep up!
Far be it from us to keep things to ourselves, here are a few more recent Commusoft updates you guys can all take advantage of!
New Diary Colours:
Commusoft’s diary feature, as I’m sure you’re aware, gives you a complete overview of where all your engineers are with the map view, as well as giving you daily, weekly, or monthly views to keep track of all the jobs in your system. With our diary featuring so prominently in terms of booking, completing, and following up on jobs, we spend a lot of time considering how to make it easier to utilise and navigate.
In that vein, the system gives you the ability to customise your job descriptions in such a way that you decide what colour specific jobs appear as on your diary. If you want all your service jobs in red and installations in blue - easy. Or if you want to be even more specific and use certain colours for singular jobs, you can do that too. Editing these colours make it much easier to discern the nature of a job at a glance as well as seeing whether or not certain jobs are more prominent or popular than others.
We’ve had a staple of colours throughout the years and every now and then we add a new set of colours (without removing the old, don’t worry!) to give you and your team even more choice. You can select lighter, pastel colours if you prefer or brighter, more vibrant tones (which are particularly useful if someone is partially sighted or colourblind). Go into your system settings, open up the ‘Job descriptions’ setting, and see if there aren’t some new colours you might fancy assigning to your jobs. This can be purely aesthetic or it could be another way to help you organise your diary too.
You guys know that we always try and keep an extensive library of certificates available for you and your engineers to choose from. We update this list on a regular basis, going off industry standards, recommended practices, government recommendations and customer feedback. With that being said, we've added yet more certificate to our library!
These are the Solar PV System Verification and the Existing Concealed Room Sealed Fan Draught Boiler Chimney Assessment (try saying that five times fast!). As with all of our certificates, they’re available (as long as you’ve got the correct industries enabled) for your engineers to create fully from the mobile (above) and you can view, download, or print these from the desktop app as well:
As always, if you’ve got an ear to the ground and you’re aware of any industry certificates that, somehow, we’re not aware of - please get in touch and let us know!
This week, we're still offering another lucky customer the chance to win 5GB of free data just for filling out our quick questionnaire on how you guys manage your mass communications and keeping in touch with all your customers. Complete our questionnaire if you didn't get a chance last week to enter yourself with the chance of winning 5GB.
You can check our website for any further updates and we look forward to hearing from you all!
