As everybody does at this time of year, we're looking back over 2018 and thinking "Wow! What a year it's been!". From releasing brand new features, to attending our first trade show, expanding our team, and supporting our clients - we've had a blast!

2018 - What a year! 🏆

We started out strong - being recognised by Capterra as one of the top 20 most user-friendly field service management softwares.
New features galore ⚙️
We've had regular updates to Commusoft this year - some of those updates being our biggest and coolest features so far!
The summer saw the release of real-time vehicle tracking, which is a game changer for a job management platform, offering new levels of accountability, vehicle oversight, and more responsive scheduling. Check out this overview (or our webinar for more!) 🚗
Our online portals (all 5 of them!) have had a massive impact for our customers on the Paperless Office plan and above. These portals radically improve your customers' journey - including things like requesting jobs, accepting estimates, tracking your engineer, paying invoices, and providing feedback. This family of feature updates not only reduces burden on office staff, but provides customers with a more professional experience. The iOS app for iPhones and iPads had a huge upgrade, with a brand new look, speed improvements, and a slew of new features. It included a new map view, voice search, a redesigned diary, user profile photos, video attachments, and multiple user diaries (also available on Android!). Check out the video. 📱
Who could forget the Cache Buster? Long-term users will remember that we previously required everybody to clear their browser's cache on a Monday morning, but not anymore! If you're still doing it - don't worry, you really don't need to! 💥
Those are my favourite updates of the year, but let's not ignore other great features like the job status widget, skills management, lockable events and 15-minute time slots, our Outlook integration, the Android widget, service windows, support for the fire & security industry, and many more little bug fixes and updates.
A bigger team and new opportunities 🙌
2018 saw a growth in the Commusoft team in almost all areas of the business - development, client services, marketing (including myself!), and sales. We're bigger and stronger than ever and ready to take on 2019! 💪
We've also started a professional services team to offer services such as custom certificate development and fast-track feature requests. < We've got brochures handy if you're interested!
And finally, we attended out first ever trade show - the Field Service Management Expo 2018. What an experience! It was great to meet both new and existing customers in the largest venue in London. We'll be back next June as part of the Facilities Show - see you there! Watch our recap below!
Onward to 2019 🚀
2019 is right around the corner and we couldn't be more excited! We'll be starting out the year with a couple huge updates - intelligent scheduling and stock control.
